What to expect during a consultation
Once you have scheduled an appointment, you will be emailed an intake form. Fill out this intake form and email it back before your visit preferably or you can print it out and bring it with you.
Preparation for consultation: Try to time breastfeedings to coincide with the time of the visit (hungry babies feed better.. but ravenous babies become fussy- so a small feeding may be needed to calm them before your visit).
Before the feeding, your baby will be weighed completely naked and then with a diaper on.
I will guide you, as needed, regarding positioning your baby at the breast and the latching technique.
After the feeding is completed, we will weigh your baby again to assess how much milk was transferred.
Follow-up visit: $175 [Weekends or holidays – $200]
